Manpower Employment Outlook Survey

One of the most closely watched indicators of economic health is the pace of hiring, and employers and job seekers alike need to know what’s next when it comes to employment prospects.  

Each quarter, the Manpower Employment Outlook Survey measures hiring confidence among approximately 60,000 employers in 43 countries and territories - including nearly 800 employers in Hong Kong - making it one of the most trusted forecasts of labour market activity in the world.  Running for more than 50 years, the MEOS is absolutely unparalleled in size, scope, longevity and area of focus.

The Manpower Employment Outlook Survey is conducted quarterly to measure employers' intentions to increase or decrease the number of employees in their workforce during the next quarter.  This helps us identify the strongest and weakest metropolitan areas, states and industries for hiring and job creation.
